Getting Around Kansas City
Stadium Parking Will Be Limited
Arrowhead normally has 20,000 parking spots, but during World Cup matches only about 3,000-4,000 will be available. Plan to use the ConnectKC26 buses or rideshare to get to the stadium.
How Does Stadium Direct Work?
This is the main way to get to matches. Stadium Direct runs express buses from the FIFA Fan Festival and four park-and-ride lots directly to Arrowhead Stadium. It is designed for ticket holders.
Park-and-Ride Locations
* Tickets/passes required for park-and-ride. Pricing to be announced early 2026.
Three Bus Services
ConnectKC26 has three bus services: one for the airport, one for the metro area, and one for stadium match days.

Express service from Kansas City International Airport (KCI) to downtown. If you are flying in, this gets you to your hotel or the Fan Festival without needing a rental car.

What Are Your Other Transportation Options?
Rideshare
Uber and Lyft operate throughout the KC metro. Expect surge pricing and longer wait times around match days. Consider combining with park-and-ride.
Private Shuttles
Local companies will offer private shuttle packages for groups. Ideal for corporate outings or large travel parties attending matches together.
Rental Cars
Available at KCI airport and throughout the metro. Useful for exploring the region, but remember: stadium parking is extremely limited on match days.
FIFA Fan Festival
The FIFA Fan Festival is at the National WWI Museum and Memorial. It's the main hub for all ConnectKC26 transit services -- Region Direct and Stadium Direct routes both connect here, so it's the natural meeting point for fans.
